Alexander Hornung I am Research Scientist at Disney Research Zurich, heading the group for imaging and video processing. I am also an adjunct lecturer at ETH Zurich and supervise undergraduate as well as MS and PhD students. Before my time at Disney I was a Postdoc at the Computer Graphics Laboratory of Prof. Markus Gross at ETH Zurich. I received my Diplom (2003) and PhD (2008) in Computer Science at the Computer Graphics Group of Prof. Leif Kobbelt at RWTH Aachen. My research interests lie in computer graphics and vision. In particular, I am interested in the fields of video and light field processing, stereoscopy, image-based rendering and 3D reconstruction, and 2D animation and games. I am always looking for good students, PhDs, Postdocs, and interns at all levels, interested in graphics related projects. Prerequisites are self-motivation, background in graphics and/or computer vision, and strong programming skills.
