Alexander Sorkine-Hornung [Full CV]
I am Senior Research Scientist at Disney Research Zurich, heading the group for Imaging and Video processing. I am also an adjunct lecturer at ETH Zurich and supervise undergraduate as well as MS and PhD students.

My research interests lie in computer graphics and vision. In particular, I am interested in video and light field processing, big visual data, image-based 3D reconstruction and rendering, color processing, stereoscopy, and visual saliency analysis. See my publications for a representative list.

I am always looking for good interns, PhDs, Postdocs, and students at all levels, interested in graphics related projects that have a direct impact on practically relevant problems for the Disney Studios, Media Networks, Interactive Studios, and Imagineering. Prerequisites are self-motivation and creativity, background in graphics and/or computer vision, and strong programming skills.
